Birds by Emil Soleski

Emil Soleski is a very talented sculpturist from Prilep, Macedonia. His work of art is well known around whole Macedonia. His backgound is finished University of Arts and Crafts, Department of  Sculpturism in Skopje, Macedonia. 

 

Emil is a experimental artist, in a way where he is not afraid to take on materials which are new or unused to him. In his career he has used variety of materials, to create his art work, such as: wood, metal, and marble. However, the material which is most close to his heart is stone. His love of this material has prompted his use of variety of stones, which he founds in the area of Prilep (his hometown). Stones such as: granite, marble (white and gray), onix and travertine. 

 

The inspiration behind his work of art comes from the unique forms of nature and universal being of the menhood. The blend between these two factors is promoted within all of his sculptures. 

 

At the moment he is working as a Proffesor of Arts and cultural historical heritage  in Krusevo High School. 

 

His work has been exhibited at MASA-UK Art Gallery since 2015 and by the Gallery at the Manchester Art Fair, Chester Art Fair, Edinburgh abd Glasgow Contemporary Art Fair
